Design-to-Cost
While IPC Cal Flex, Inc. (CFI) is happy to join our customer's design efforts at any stage, we believe getting involved as early as possible in the design phase will result in substantial benefits to the customer, both in product design and in the end result. We attempt to build relationships with our customers to participate in concurrent engineering/DTC as requirements dictate.
Program Review
CFI's technical staffs always monitor and identify engineering problems early in programs and present practical, effective and financially sound alternatives to our customers.
Competitive Pricing
CFI has programs to frequently develop new processing techniques that provide reduced material pricing and pass a portion of those savings on to our customers. We are also consistently monitoring and reviewing our manufacturing related practice and procedures in order to share any cost reduction opportunity with our customer.
Quality
Quality System
IPC Cal Flex, Inc. was initially assessed and registered as meeting the requirements of ISO 9002/ANSI/ASQC Q9002 in May of 1998. We were recently re-assessed and registered in November of 2000. Our documented Quality Assurance Manual and Quality System Procedures provide objective evidence that a quality system is in place. Additionally, we believe that in today's electronic marketplace, "Building to the Specifications," is just not good enough. We are committed to the utilization of preventive, rather than detective manufacturing techniques.
